Hey guys,
The Super-Matic is great. I prefer heavier gauge strings than were shipped with my guitar. What is the largest gauge I can use without having to worry about tuning/calibration issues?

Hi Thomas,
11-48 shouldn't cause you any issues, preferably with a plain G.
You may be ok without re-calibration, but it would be best to do it to get the most out of the guitar.
Please keep in touch with us, it's great to hear user experiences with the Super-Matic.
Obviously many different strings guages and setups were tried and tested in development of the Super-Matic and the ATD bridge unit, but in the real world of gigging with a guitar, different scenarios and challenges pop up all the time.
We need to hear about them!
