| Newbie post!
I've just bought a rather lovely second hand Fret King Esprit V with the words "by Eggle" on the headstock. Anyone know anything about it please? Origin, history, date of manufacture, where I might find a serial number? Any information would be gratefully received. __________________ thenickmeister sets a miserably low standard which he fails to maintain

Welcome to the Forum! The guitar sounds like it is probably from the era when Trev was building Fret King along side Eggle guitars. If you email some pics to trev@trevwilkinson.com we'll have a look for you. The serial number is likely to be on a black and silver plate inside the rear control cavity.
Cheers Mike @ Fret King

Thanks for the link. It's apparently one of the earlier ones from around 200/01, when they were made at the Patrick Eggle factory. __________________ thenickmeister sets a miserably low standard which he fails to maintain |
